THE NATIONAL LOTTERY COMMUNITY FUND – PLATINUM JUBILEE FUNDING: SUCCESSFULLY SUPPORTING CARE EXPERIENCED YOUNG PEOPLE  

Funded by the The National Lottery Community Fund as one of 91 projects across the UK awarded £50,000 Platinum Jubilee funding, we have been working hard since our celebratory launch 27 young people have contributed to our story-based gallery, we are looking forward to Reframe training 27 foster carers in October 2022 – and our placed based workshops taking place with our young people.

Danger of Missing Out: Data poverty, care experienced young people, and creative opportunities 

This Data Poverty Lab Fellowship was undertaken by the author, (Dr Becky Parry) with Charlie Elliott and young people from Affinity 2020 for a period of six months in 2022. The research, funded by Good Things Foundation and Nominet, aimed to find out how care experienced young people were impacted by data poverty when trying to access creative or arts opportunities.
